Saucy Meal Queen Review: Mott 32 – Dubai

A Dining Experience in the Sky

Located high up in the stunning Address Downtown Dubai, Mott 32 offers an unparalleled dining experience. Specializing in modern Chinese cuisine with a sophisticated twist, this restaurant combines incredible food with breathtaking views of Dubai glittering skyline. Even though it was summer, we ventured outside to take in the spectacular view—albeit briefly, as the evening heat was still intense.

Cocktails That Impress

The cocktails at Mott 32 were so exceptional, even the saucy king—who never drinks cocktails—was won over. Each drink was a visual masterpiece, showcasing the care and attention the bartenders put into their craft. Here’s what we tried:

  • Forbidden Rose: Vanilla-infused Pisco, passionfruit, lychee, chili, lemon, and an edible flower—a perfect blend of sweet and spice.
  • Nashi: Vodka, pear, sake, Thai basil, and lemon—refreshing and fragrant.
  • Mott Street Mule: Vodka, yuzu cordial, ginger beer, and lemon—a classic with a modern twist.

Each cocktail was priced at approximately £16 / $20, and every sip was worth it.

The Food

Sharing plates was the perfect way to savor as much of Mott 32’s menu as possible. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were outstanding. Here’s what we ordered:

  • Shredded 42 Days Peking Duck Salad with beetroot, crispy taro, and citrus truffle dressing (£18.50 / $23)—light and full of flavor.
  • Sweet Corn Soup with King Crab (£14 / $17.50)—smooth, comforting, and packed with crabmeat.
  • Sweet and Sour Free-Range Chicken (£37 / $46.50)—a must-have for our king, who can never resist his favorite dish.
  • Stir-Fried Egg Noodles with soy sauce and spring onion (£18.50 / $23)—simple yet delicious and our prince’s favorite thing on the menu. He does love a good noodle.
  • Crabmeat Fried Rice with flying fish roe (£24 / $30)—rich, satisfying, and bursting with seafood goodness. Just how the queen likes it.

For dessert, we shared the Pineapple White Chocolate Pavlova with goji berry (£18.50 / $23), a delicate and delightful finish to our feast, but one dessert was definitely enough for all three of us after all that gorgeous food.

A Luxurious Evening

Yes, Mott 32 is on the pricier side, but every aspect of the experience justifies it. From the impeccable service and luxurious bathroom details (monogrammed hand towels!) to the stunning food, drinks, and picture-perfect surroundings, it was a memorable evening with my saucy family.

After dinner, we headed downstairs to the bar at the Address Hotel for a family game of cards. The service was, as always in Dubai, impeccable. It’s moments like these that make me fall even more in love with this city.

Our Black Car Taxi from the Atlantis The Palm was about $30 each way. We booked a return so we just had to text our driver when we were ready to be picked up which was a nice touch and something which was organized by the hotel.

The Verdict

An undeniable 10/10—Mott 32 exceeded every expectation. From the meticulously crafted dishes and exquisite cocktails to the stunning views and impeccable service, every detail contributed to a truly unforgettable evening. Whether you’re a foodie, a cocktail enthusiast, or just looking for a memorable night out in Dubai, Mott 32 is an absolute must-visit. It’s not just dining—it’s an experience you’ll cherish long after the night ends!
