Saucy Meal Queen’s Royal Dining at The Hollywood Brown Derby – Hollywood Studios

A Royal Day at Hollywood Studios

Darlings, gather ‘round because I’ve just had a day out that is worthy of a royal celebration. The Saucy Queen, along with a fabulous friend by my side, headed to Hollywood Studios for a little fun, food, and a whole lot of Disney magic. Where else would we go for such a special day? Why, The Hollywood Brown Derby, of course! Located in the heart of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this place is an absolute gem, and I am thrilled to share all the details of our day of indulgence. 💖✨

The Perfect Spot for People-Watching

We arrived ready to eat, drink, and enjoy the fabulous atmosphere, and I must say, the Brown Derby did not disappoint. We were fortunate enough to be seated outside on the terrace, the perfect spot to people-watch and soak in the bustling Disney magic while enjoying our royal feast. As we sat back and relaxed, we couldn’t help but wave hello to the magic as Donald and Daisy Duck passed by, followed by the mischievous Chip and Dale—talk about Disney serendipity! 🦆🐿️

The Queen’s True Love: Bread

Let’s talk bread, darling. Because we all know that bread is the queen’s true love, and The Hollywood Brown Derby certainly understands this royal affection. Normally, those gorgeous French bread rolls are reserved for guests dining inside the restaurant, but as any seasoned queen knows—sometimes, you have to ask for what you want! Naturally, I requested them for our table on the terrace, and the result was pure happiness. Soft, warm, and oh-so-buttery, these rolls were the perfect start to our meal. And when I take my Saucy Prince here, he gets a basket full because, well, it’s just that good. 🍞👑

Appetizers Fit for Royalty

Now, onto the food, which, of course, is the highlight of any royal adventure! As good friends do, we decided to share our plates so we could enjoy more of the fabulous menu. We kicked things off with the Crab Louie ($18). This dish was absolutely fabulous, featuring a generous helping of crab, crispy olive bread, fried capers, and a tangy Louie sauce. Every bite was a little piece of heaven, with the crispness of the bread and the zesty sauce complementing the sweet crab perfectly. A perfect way to begin our meal. 🦀💕

Next up, we couldn’t resist trying the Prosciutto Croquettes ($15). These little bundles of joy came with pickled onion, a herb gel, and ají amarillo aioli—and my goodness, these croquettes were a flavor bomb! They were crispy on the outside, with a creamy, savory filling on the inside, and that tangy aioli added the perfect kick to round out the flavor. Trust me, darling, you’ll be savoring every bite. 😍

Cheese, Please!

And what’s a royal meal without some cheese? We also ordered the Charcuterie Board ($23), which featured the chef’s selection of cured meats, cheeses, and delicious accompaniments. If there’s one thing the Saucy Queen knows, it’s that cheese is always a good choice. The assortment was perfectly curated, with the meats and cheeses offering a beautiful balance of salty, creamy, and savory. This dish is always a win, and I’m here for it every time! 🧀🍷

Cocktail Time – A Royal Affair

But wait, we’re not done yet—because, as you know, the Saucy Queen never holds back when it comes to enjoying the finest drinks. Now, as a lover of vodka, I went all out with the Martini Flight. This flight included a pomegranate martini (my favorite), along with two others that were a bit stronger but still delicious. The pomegranate martini was a perfect blend of tart and sweet, and I found myself wishing I could just keep sipping that one all day. 🍸✨

My friend, not to be outdone, ordered the Margarita Flight, because who can resist a good margarita? Each was refreshing, but the spicy margarita was the real standout—just the right amount of kick and the perfect balance of flavors. If you like a drink with a little heat, this one’s for you! 🌶️🍹

Dessert Fit for a Queen

By now, we were both feeling pretty merry, but the day wasn’t over yet. We had to finish with dessert, of course! We decided to share the Chocolate Cake—rich, decadent, and every bit as delicious as it sounds. The cake was perfectly moist, with layers of chocolate goodness and a generous helping of chocolate ganache. Let’s just say we savored every bite and couldn’t have been happier. 🍰💖

Saucy Verdict: 10/10

Saucy Verdict: 10/10. A royal 10, because honestly, this place is a must-visit in Hollywood Studios. From the delightful atmosphere, impeccable service, and mouthwatering food, to the chance to people-watch while enjoying your meal, this place always makes me feel like I’m dining like true royalty. I’ll definitely be back, and next time, I might even treat the Saucy King to a meal here—he’s going to love it!

Hollywood Brown Derby, thank you for always serving up perfection.

Until next time, darlings! 💋
